2009 GOODBYE HELLO 2010!!

09 pretty much was not so great. It wasn't a good time for either economy, celebrities, cops and businesses going out of business. Oh and Layoffs happened too.

Seriously, I am glad to see this year go, and it will be in 30 mins.
There were some great points in 09 for me, like meeting new friends, new cosplays, new car, new job at nordstrom, that I can think of so far.

Yes I bet your thinking "why are you at home typing this, you should be out partying!" I just didn't want to deal with the partying morons out and about and driving in traffic.
I got a make over just in case I do go out, but I'm feeling pretty and relaxing at home XD lol

Anyway 09 will be leaving in 25 mins now, THANK GOD! I cannot wait to start the new year now!

Since the new year is coming here are what I want to keep to.

1: Working out alot more than just from doing stock at work

2: Spending LESS money on things I don't need or shouldn't get. (I just did that for the last time today lol new wallet and new eyeshadow)

3: Make sure that I plan out my cosplay making times better, so that I'm not freaking myself out close to con.

4: Keeping the house clean, and making sure that we keep it clean once a week.
(we have been really bad about this)

5: Make it a point to get rid of things I don't need or forgotten about. Either sell them on Ebay, sell them to my friends or donate them. I also need to sell off my costume jewlery that I been meaning to do for 2 years :P

6:Eat healthier!

7: hang out with my friends alot more, 09 I hung out but it was in spurts due to cosplays and working a crap schedule at my old job.

8: To go to bed earlier on the days I work, so I am not so damn tired the next day.

9: Make commisions if they are not to complex.

10: Save money! Plus to pay off my bills aka credit card and Doctor bills

11: To start drawing again and also taking more photos.

That is so far what I have to work on this year :)

I know that 2010 will be a way better year and will kick ass!

Today wiped me out seriously! Work had me cashier for the mens half yearly sale. I forgotten how standing in one spot in shoes that used to be comfy can hurt your feet legs ...nm your whole friken body! lol sigh I am sooo glad it was just one day of it, and I get to go back to working my stock room!

Also, who's going to ECCC? Cus Leonard Nimoy is going to be there OMFG!

I go on FB and go and look for my friend who is on my friends list. Well I come to find out the bastard unfriened me cus I posted on his status and wall. umm WTF?? I message him and ask him was this a mistake or did his wife get into a tissy that a girl he dated said hi to him.
Mind you he and I dated EONS ago, like in 04 or something. WE broke up cus he moved, we stayed friends lost contact and reconnected as friends again. Anyway, he replies back to me saying this and yes this is word for word from him.

"you did post on my wall...the same day I asked you not too!!! and she noticed and yelled at me!! (you replied to a post I made, I think a status update)"

LOL, ok wtf what kind of answer is that shit, plus he didn't even answer by question of why he unfriened me.
So I write back to him, saying that she has nothing to worry about me and him being close in that way. As he is married to her and loves her to the ends of the earth. I love Matt to the ends of the earth and we are practically married ourselfs and cheating is a moronic thing anyway(look at Tiger Woods for example :P) Plus I even said does she get like this with your other friends who are girls or did you unfriend them all as well.

Seriously what is it that she gets so pissy and mad at him about when I ever say hi on IM or FB. I don't fucken get it at all.
I don't say flirty things to him cus that to be is awkward and weird. I just say Yo or Sup dude. there is not much to read into them.

Yes it may sound petty and shit, but come on I hate it when a guy friends significant other gets all jealous when I say hi to their man.
Am I that much of a threat? NO! I maybe viewed as one of the guys, and the fact that some of them know me already and they still act like this. I just don't fucken get it!

I'll get over this in a few days, its just I had to share this stupid ass shit. I guess my friendship with him is offically over if his wife keeps thinking I'm trying to "take him away" from her. /shakes fist , head and facepalms!

LOL so I get another reply from him and he tells me that his wife doesn't want him to be friends with the girls he has dated. WOW insecure much.

SO I finally got some of the pics I took during Kumori Con (The Fail con). I did have a blast with my friends during con weekend.
I hung out with Chris, Bryce, & Cassie for a few hours and took some pics of the random and fun Shenenaigans that happened.

Seriously, I wake up feeling like a bus hit me. Then check some things out something I see made me feel hurt and not thought about. Then I go to meet up with a friend to give them the rukia wig they bought from me. I go back to my car and find a parking ticket on it! Sigh that was my fault as I was a few mins late getting back to my car and it was game day. So there out in force.

Then I come home, get the mail and find a mail addressed to me from the parking company attendants at my works lot. They aren't supposed to ticket me in anyway as I work there, and I get 3 tickers 1 last month and 2 this month(both of them in 2 days).
I was told to ignore them and call the number that my (excuse my language here) fucken store manager never gave me cus he forgot and the next day he is on vacation and he is on vacation again! So this mailer I get is a collection fee for my overtimed parking in the lot! WTF? They know my fucken car and they have it on file as a safeway employee! Basically whom ever they hired on just recently is a dumb ass and can't read or doesn't pay the fuck attention! So I was told that these companies shouldn't even be hunting you down for payment. As these parking companies know they can't as they are not government or city enforcement.

So, since my fucken store manager is on vacation AGAIN! >.< I'm going to give one of my managers my tickets(im supposed to ignore and not worry about) and the collections mail to one of my other managers that will listen to me. So they can get this off of my car. As I am NOT paying these tickets as I work in the facility and they KNOW my car and others that work at Safeway! oh and the 2 tickets I got in 2 days those were after 5pm when they aren't supposed to be ticketing cars! Everyone who worked those 2 days got tickets no matter what!

I'm just fucken pissed about this BS!

In 2 months I will be 31...yes thats right folks 31! I know that some of you don't belive that I am that old lol but I am XD.
I don't know why but I feel younger, since I started cosplaying. Maybe its cus of my younger friends XD making me feel youthful. Plus I been young at heart all the time!.

So, I should be doing the one of the 3 things right now well 4.
1: Cleaning my room so that the new bed can be easily moved into the room and that Matt can move all his stuff in as well.
2: Finish sewing up my cosplays and putting the finishing touches on my other cosplays for AE.
3: putting up the things I am selling on LJ, DA, Myspace, FB and even Ebay so I can obatin moola! XD plus I just don't need them anymore.
4: Take a Nap as I been up since 4am, since I worked at 5:30am! o.0 Then finish cleaning!

But its to nice out to do that, but I may just act like a cat and cat nap in the sunlight heh

Oh and in the process of cleaning yesterday, and changing out my old accordin file folder with a new one. I found my missing passport! YAY!
The funny thing is I looked in that thing 4 times, 2 times by me and 2 times by Matt. I even looked all over the house and cleaned everything. I knew that I was overlooking something and somewhere and I did! ^_^ I'm just happy I found it! cus I really didn't want to report it lost, as they will detain you if your traveling(since your passport is flagged) to ensure you are who you are. So YAY I need not to worry about that

Sakura Con the real update!

So now that I am now fully rested and slightly con lagged. Here is my report from the con, please excuse the lack of some photos. I will be posting them once I get them ^_^. I will also be writing up about Sakura Con on The Entertainment Girls Network.

This was the best con so far of 2009, I got to see most of my friends that are out of state at Sakura Con. I did manage to not meet up with 2 of my in state friends mihoyonagi & my other friend Tempest Fox( who does't have a LJ) I did see mihoyonagi in her Shiki cosplay but didn't want to sound like a noob when calling her name lol. Plus I left my phone at home and got it the next day. My god did my phone have like a bajillion texts and missed calls lol.

I got to hang with sailor_asteroid , darkain , ultimaaa , idolatrystudios , cosplay_hunter & sailortweek ! I only hung out with them for short time but OMG I miss them already! Next time guys we need to hang out more at the con ^_^ and shit! XD

Thursday, I was supposed to go for Pre-reg day, but I failed at finishing my cosplays to where they wre presentable! So I missed out on the pre- reg fun! :P I stayed up till 10am finishing up stuff and packing! GAH!

Friday - Besides going to sleep at 10am I woke up around 1(which was the FFX offical shoot boo) I was not wanting to wake up. I had to and got the rest of my con going gear packed up and had to grab a bite to eat. I didn't get to the hotel till about 330. Then left for the con around 4ish.
I didn't really cosplay I just took it easy walking around in my Sakura Haruno wig and top. I deacided to go as Casual Friday Sakura lol.
That night was the Naruto or Narutard Face off panel. IT WAS FUNNY! and fun. Of course towards the end it kind of went off into the land of no return as some of hte contestants minds were all about Yoai. It's fine but sometimes you just have to go with something else as the same thing gets stale. but all in all it was a fab panel and this time they better give them a bigger room!
I also ended the night with sushi and a lime rickey!!! soooo good!

Saturday - The day of my first 3 cosplay changes! I have never done that till this year lol.
In The morning I got into Nia of Gurren Lagann, Met up with my group for our private shoot. Some how we got some other cosplayers that followed us and we thought they were someone elses friends lol but its all good. We then later told them that we were now doing our private shoot and thanks for the added characters :D. Around 3 I went back to the hotel and changed into RIkku of FFX, then waited around for Liz as she was having some technical difficulty with her Adiane paint. She finally arrived and we went to our lovely shoot location!
WE had fun with the hour we took photos. Then changed into our Vocaloid cosplays...which kind of was a miscommunication of when were gathering lol. I was told 9 and others were told 6. So a few of us sat around doing nothing for a 2 hours lol. ohy well I had dinner and was good. Then came the offical shoot that well.....was a bit of a Cluster fuck. No one knew what was going on or what we were doing for poses and stuff. I was getting a bit irritated as I was getting tired and wanted to go eat.

Then it was organized chaos, till we tried to run away for our own private shoot with i360 and Photo panda. That didn't work well as a few stragelers followed :P then when we found a area to take our shots at. We ended up by this horrid high fiving line of folks screaming and yelling non stop. Annoying the crap out of us, Jason and Matt and Eli were about to go body check them as they were getting louder and louder and more obnoixous. Then they stopped as 2 security guys walked by. THANK GOD! lol

So then we finally tried to figure out the phot shoot for our vocaloids. I wanted it to hurry so that I could get out of my cosplay as the collar was irritating my neck. The edge was rubbing against my neck >.< Matt was like ok one more pic, your getting to the point where your going to be grumpy and snap at yoru friends and I don't think you want that. So one more and we go, After I talked to a few of our group matt felt bad taking me away. But he just didn't want me to show my grumpy pants snapping side to my friends, Cus you don't want to be near me for that o.0 hell I dont; lol.

Oh I also forgot to mention that before this shoot was taken somewhere else, I also shot with Alain of idolatrystudios ! I now know how he works MUHAHAHAHA! THank you Alain for shooting with me, even though it was a short time. It was worth it ^_^ and next time we will hang out more too!

Sunday- I woke up with a hang over from drinking Sake, Washinton Apple Shot and Sake and being Effin Tired. I was glad to cosplay Dawn the Pokemon Trainer. Since she is easy and comfy! The pokemon shoot went Smoothly thanks to Tuomas aka Kenshiro of FDP.

All in all even though there were some low points of the con, I still had a blast! Since I got to hang with my friends all weekend and Matt and Jason had a fun time and they will be back again!

I Miss everyone already! and I'm am so tired and dead lol but worth it!

I'll have more reported once I get more energy and don't feel as dead to the world!
Thanks to everyone who made this Con a BLAST! Also I finally met Alain and you are a sweety I wish I got to hang with you more!
Same with you Vince and Lada, I only got to hang with you for a bit but it was fun!

Matt came with me and it was his first full Con! He had fun, but was bored at times as he was with me at most of my shoots.
He said that if he had a costume he would of be more into walking around and stuff. He felt kind of out of place, and so next year he is planning on coming agian. This time I'll start a bit earlier so I can work on his cosplays :) Since the cosplay I was going to make for him, didn't turn out satisfactory and we had to dump it as we were running out of time to start over on the main part, the mask of Dr. Zoidberg.

My Roommate Jason also came and this was his 4th Sakura Con, this one he was just watching all the con goers and wasn't in cosplay this time. He had alot of fun and felt kind of dirty cus he saw alot of cute girls running around but realize that 95% of them were under aged lol. or taken. hehe but he had fun with the 2 Nick's Matt and Eli.

So more later and I will have some pics posted once I get them ^_^

Sakura Con is coming and it is around the corner! o.o I'm scared that I won't get everything done in time!
I already got my 2 cosplays done and just need to finish all the detail stuff which will be easy to do.

Luka and Nia are done being sewn and just need more detaling stuff done.
so I guess you can say they are 95% done

The next 2 cosplays I have to finish is Yukiko and Rikku
Rikku I decided to not do her wetsuit version as it is to hard to do at this time(needing more help and crap) Plus I'll have it done for Aki Con
So I'm just doing her usual outfit she is in the game.

Yukiko, I just need to do the top as ultimaaa is making my skirt :D yay! less stress for me there.

These 2 outfits don't need much other razzel dazzle detalins. THANK GOD!

Plus I'll be bringing my 2 back up cosplays too Dawn the Pokemon Trainer and Sakura Haruno
Mainly for the pokemon shoot that Toumas wants me to join. Plus The Narutard Faceoff that Airika is holding XD

So today Matt and I were going to go do some errands and go to Costco. On our way to costco I get into an accident, Clearly my fault :( No one was hurt is the big thing, just my car and my driving record :(
I was getting around another accident that just happened and I was moving while looking at the accident, which I became one of the stupid people on the road I hate that gawk and stare and cause the atraffic jam :( I became one of those today! GAH!

I didn't see the stop light was red, thought it was green and thought I had enough room in front of me, well as soon as I figured I didn't I saw my hood fold in front of me. I did a number on my werevolvo :(, she might be dead in body work. It is really sad cus I don't have a car now.
I called up my family to let them know I was in an accident and that no one was hurt and the guy I hit was a nice about it all. He isn't going to pursue this as, it was just a light bulb for his Liscense plate was broken. My car on the other hand it look like I hit his car at a higher speed, when in actuallity I just hit him under 10 MPH. I think it was the angle I hit him and the fact that his bumper was the same hight of my hood.

So I will hear the news tomorrow and I looked on Kelly Blue book to see how much my car is really worth :( barely 2k GAH!
well thats what it is for a 1990 volvo I guess, so with my settlement money and if my car gets totaled out. I'm going to find me a car before SCon, so that I don't have to lug my ass around on a bus as I hate the bus system here :\ I truely do!.

GAH I'm a Effin Idiot! and I'm transprotation less till I find me a car soon :( so no Gasukan for me unless I can borrow my mom's car some how :\. Sigh I hate my self and I'm full of fail right now :(

SO I come home from the dentist for a cleaning. They tell me I need to get my wisdom teeth out ASAP! cus well I been sitting on them to long as they haven't bothered me since 05. I have a impacted one but I can understnad that one. The dentist wants me to get them all removed >.<
Seriously I don't want to look like a chipmunk that has stuffed its face full of nuts for a month! Plus I probably won't have the urge to cosplay for Gasu if I look like a chipmunk..... I'll just go as a Chipmunk for GAsu :P lol that is if I am not in to much pain and crap.

Oi! This sucks and instead of using the usualy tool to scrape off the tarter, they used the drill tool o.0 that was soooooo wanting me to grit my teeth cus of the high pitched noise. GAH! My teeth always hurt after the cleaning, :\ I took some IB Profen and now waiting for it to buffer my pain.

Sigh lol This is why I hate the dentist!

Cosplay progresso! Materials Obtained!

So I got my stuff for Nia and Luka YAY! I have some really nice fabrics for both of them. Oh and I got fabric for Yukiko as well too!

For Nia I got, this really nice pink poplin fabric the main dress part. I got a lighter pink for her skirt, a really nice jersey fabric for her hoodie. I still need to get more of the pink poplin fabric for her cape. Plus I need to get some resin stuff to make her jewels, and more craft foam and gold paint for the rest of the stuff and find some plastic braclets to paint gold. I got the wig ^_^ so happy about it

Cannot wait for it to come in ^_^

This is her belt, fabric for her hoodie & the red fabric paint for the Gurren Lagann emblem.

This is a combo of frabrics for from top to bottom, Luka, Nia and Yukiko sorry if my flash made the red to bright and the pink to washed out >_>

My Pattern for Nia's Hoodie ^_^ and on the right is her Dress Pattern with I am going to Alter ^_^ and use the pattern again for my future cosplay of Tsubaki from Soul Eater!

and this is her skirt its going to be Pattern a ^_^ and all I need for this cosplay is her Shoes :D and I can find the rest later ;)

For Luka I got this really nice satin fabric that is anti slip! I kid you not I was playing around with the fabric in the satin section and found this really nice one! I tested it out and it was no slip! perfect for not slipping around while sewing! YAY and its on that pic above where I have all 3 fabrics up there lol.

This is some of the trimings I have for her lovely detailing. I got this cool nylon fabric that will work for her arm things. Gold paint for her skirt details and belt which is above right. Found some gold curtain tie backs that are perfect for her intricate thing on her shirt. The gold ribbon I think I might use for her shirt details and arm covers. darkin is helping me make her arms and head set blink!

I haver her boots YAY Ebay saved my life! they are perfect, even though they are a bit darker but it works ^_^ The patern in the middle will be altered to be her top, and the last pattern will be her skirt of course altered lol. The one thing I need for this cosplay is her Wig ^_^ and headset.

This will be the pattern for Yukiko from Persona 4, the Jaket is perfect for her red sweater. I just need to get the buttons and white fabric paint to use for the detailins on her sailor collar. Which I got a great tutorial from ultimaaa ^_^
The red fabric is really nice the perfect red for her sweater! the pic doesn't do it justice! all I need to do is get her shoes, wig and glasses I have all the rest! Since ultimaaa is making the skirt for me which reminds me to send her my measurements!

So, that is the progression I guess of what I have so far, I just need to start sewing! Only ting is I sit in my sewing area with everything ready to start. Since being sick, I don't have the gusto to even sew :( so tomorrow I am going to try and get this started!

Update on the Rikku wetsuit, I just need to find the right vinly for her suit! I find the right colors but there not soft!
Meaning they don't bend well and are only ment for other industrial things! So I am going to go visit Airika next week at her work up in Lynwood, since she said they have alot of costume vinyl that will work for my Rikku cosplay! YAY!

So Lada interviewed me with 5 questions and here are my answers to them ^_^

1) How's that Rydia coming along?? lol
lol well it still in the works, need to buy the fabrics for her. I been side tracked by my other Cosplays I have planned for Sakura Con.
I will start it very very soon! since I been looking at it now and then trying to come up with which fabrics to use ^_^

2) Where do you work again?
I work at Big Fish Games here in Seattle. I work as a Technical Support rep. I basically help folks out to get there super outdated computer to some how mericaalously play the games.

3) What was your college major?
It was going to be Photography and or Drama. But since I was young and really was indecisive on what I really wanted to do.
So I actually graduated as a Massage Therapist, worked as a LMP for lil over a year and called it quits. It was not as lucrative as you think it would be, as all the big places wanted you to do 10 massages a day! and they wanted you to have high volume experience. Which is dumb as your coming right out of school. oh well :P lol Now I am self teaching myself on how to do 3d art work so I can work on Video games XD

4) What got you into cosplay?
Back in 2005 when I made my first detailed somewhat decent cosplay for a costume contest. That was heled down in Vegas for my MMO I used to play non stop lol called Everquest & Everquest 2. I cosplayed Antonia Bayle of Everquest 2 and won the costume contest. I also had my redition of Chun Li cosplay that I wore to death after that lol it now retired till I redo the costume.
SO I guess you can say I got into it not knowing I was in it in 05, but didn't get super into it till last year o.0 Damn lol I feel like I been cosplaying alot longer the that!

5) Are you single? ;DD *hint hint wink wink*
Nope, I am happily taken by my Boyfriend of 3 years Matt ^_^. I just got him into Cosplay after he attened Aki Con for one day.
He would come with me to more cosplay events and gatherings. If his work wasn't taking away his life :( He works sound at a casino.
So I am helping him work on his Dr. Zoidberg cosplay and I think he wants to cosplay Vash from Hellsing or was it just Hellsing.
He is planning on making it to Sakura Con, so he can meet all of my friends and everyone else I cosplay with ^_^ YAY!

2009 Resolution thingy!

HAPPY NEW YEARS GUYS! ^_^ So this is what I resolve to do and I will be adding some cosplay stuff to it too lol. lol and I also posted this on Deviant Art but I thought I share with you LJ folks too ^_^
Anyway here we go lol.

1) WORK OUT AGAIN!So that I don't look out of shape and flabby cosplaying lol
>.< I was doing fine from September and October of last year. Since work got super busy and started doing over time(which I never mind on) Then came the holidays lol and food....Oi but it was soo gooooood!

2) Finish the cosplays I'm commissioning for my Boyfriend Matt and my Roommate Jason.

3) Keep my damn room clean, and making sure Matt does the same.

4) Save up moneies to buy a new car, as mine died on me on NYE as I got home from work.
Sigh lol I mean its still fixable just not working atm.

5) Start eating better, so that I don't feel bad when I work out.

6) Not to keep things that will keep cluttering my desk. Like useless papers and such.

7) Drawing more and making more digital art ^_^

8) Get this camera [link] as mine died as it works periodically. I also don't want to keep using Matt's digi cam all the time.

9) Practice more on sewing so that my stitching isn't messy looking. Also working on more complex costumes cus I hate myself like that.

10) Learn how to make Craft foam, armor. Also learn how to use resin and wonderflex! So that I can make some costumes tht require that kind of thing.

11) Read more anime and watching it too I just started watching Soul Eater recently and Reborn which was around Thanksgiving and I love both series!

12) Posing better and having better expressions for pics in my cosplays >.> lol cus well everytime I look at them I'm like GAH I need to work on this lol.

13) Cook more at home, instead of Matt and I going out to eat. It usually due to me coming home from working overtime or his band practices. Where both of us are to tired to do anything in the kitchen.

14) Of course make more friends and cosplays! ^_^ cus I love both!

15) Go to more cons, cus I can't get enough of them!

16) Play more video games, and get back to playing my MMO Everquest 2, its been awhile and I bet I've been kicked from teh guild I been in for 2 years now lol ooops.

17) I will try and keep up with my LJ posting lol cus I realized I failed at it last year lol

So thats it I think for my Resolutions for 2009! lol but I know I'll add more to it later I am making it a point to myself to stick to this! Cus last year I failed lol oh well

Why you are asking, well over 2 years ago I got into a car accident that totaled my car. Not my fault but it was all hers!
I was going southbound on a residential street going through a uncontrolled intersection.
I checked no cars coming either way, so I proceed through and what do I see coming at me on my left side?!?!
A Big ass SUV 90's Ford Explorer about to hit me! I nearly get t-boned, but thank god I wasn't that far into the intersection.
We exchanged infos I asked who her insurance was....she blinks and tells me she didn't have any and that she didn't know if her boyfriend at the time had any. Then she gave me her phone number and his, so I got hit by a uninsured motorist GREEEAT!

It is clearly her damn fault as she hits me on my driver side pushing me the direction she was going west!
She failed to yield and and speeding through.

I was in shock when this happened and didn't realized I was injured till I calmed down.
then I find out I'm being sued for causing this accident??? WTF?
so this has been dragging on since 9.06 yes that's right over 2 years ago!

So tomorrow will hopefully be the last of this shit, and it be over with. Its taking way to much of my time and time away from work.
I hope that they look at all my evidence and all the things that I did right
This has been a big headache and my

attorneys

know me well by now lol.

Wish me luck and pray that this ends tomorrow!
